In the early 80s, Rob started racing with USHR
(United States Hot Rod) in mud bogs throughout the northeast. Then, in 1985, he decided it was time to open up his own shop.
It started out in a small bay that he would rent from a local garage. A year later he would meet his wife, Terri, and it was then time to expand the business. They moved Meridian Off Road Center to It's now current location on Route 422 in Mount Chestnut, 2 miles west of Butler, Pa.
Meridian Off Road Center is now a 2 story tall showroom complete with 4 bays, and is still 100% family owned and operated.
